Imperial Motorcars proudly introduces this captivating 1963 VW Dune Buggy, an extraordinary find assembled in 1971, and still adorned with its original Gel Coat metal flake paint job. The exterior Gel Coat remains in excellent condition, displaying only minor wear. The interior is thoughtfully equipped with Smittybuilt bucket seats, and a rear seat complete with seatbelts for added safety. This remarkable Dune Buggy is powered by a 1973 Super Beetle dual-port motor, which underwent a meticulous rebuild and was expertly installed by Jus'Bugs in 2008. The current owner has taken it on numerous adventurous journeys, covering over 1,500 miles this year alone. These journeys served to address any potential issues and affirm that this Dune Buggy is fully prepared to conquer the open road, effortlessly achieving highway speeds. The Buggy features:
-Registered as a 1963 VW to VIN on pan.
-Used as a Shriners Children's Hospital parade vehicle in Louisiana. (never used off road).
-History of prior owners for past 30 plus years
-Converted to 12 volt and 73 Super Beetle dual port rebuilt motor installed by Jus' Bugs in 2008.
-Engine oil and filter recently changed.
-Transaxle fluid changed.
-Front end lubricated.
-Brand new carburetor with electric choke.
-New fuel pump and fuel lines.
-Completely tuned up and runs great. New cap, rotor, NGK spark plugs, points and condenser.
-New fuel filter.

-Custom Revco stainless steel oil catch can breather box with filter.
-Driven over 1500 miles in past year without any problems.

-Complete brake system overhaul including, hoses, brake cylinders, brake shoes, inner and outer wheel bearings, adjusting nuts, spindle nuts, spindle nut locking plates, thrust washers, bearing cap covers. Also converted from single reservoir to brand new EMPI dual reservoir master cylinder.
-New outer tie rod ends.
-Original VDO speedometer.
-Old school Torx Thrust wheels with brand new center caps.
-AM /FM CD radio with weatherproof speakers.
-CB radio with custom made mount Firestick antenna.
-New Tachometer.
-Vintage Superior 500 small steering wheel with VW center cap.
-All gauges and lights work including license plate light.
-Canvass top withstands highway speeds. Easy removal and install in minutes.
-Custom machine shop fabricated gas cap collar made from stainless steel with a vintage Mopar (Cuda Charger) style flip top gas door.
-Custom fabricated front and rear bumpers. (Have attachments for flag holders that come with sale).
-Custom machined manual wiper blade arm system kit.
-Custom old school hand pinstripping done by long time well know local pinstriper. (With video of him doing it).
