Imperial Motorcars is pleased to offer this one owner 1985 Chevrolet Corvette with only 81,283 miles. This Corvette was loved by its previous owner until he passed away. This car comes with the original purchase paperwork as well as a copy of the original title and a clean Carfax documenting the milage history. We are selling this barn find in “AS IS” condition. We drove the Corvette twenty miles to our dealership and the engine ran strong with no issues or any smoking. We were told that the previous owner maintained the vehicle by changing the oil every year. There are no check engine lights and all the electronic gauges appear to be working as well as the power windows and leather seats. The exterior paint is in great conditions with a deep shine. There are a few things that we noticed on the car that will need attention by the future buyer.
• The removable glass top will need repair/replacement due to two cracks
• The tires look good but are old and have flat spots making for a hard ride
• The radio turns on and functions, but the antenna does not appear to be connected.
• There are signs of an oil leak with a few oil spots on the ground after it sits for a while.
• The headlights work but they do not go up and down. It appears the previous owner disconnected them.
